How can I install YDL 5.01 on ps3 firmware 2.10, I just get a blank black screen....

I think it is a dev question, as the YDL site makes no mention of the patch i need

It has nothing to do with developing Linux or Linux applications, it is an end-user support question, you will definitely get a better answer on those forums.
