Sorry if this is in the wrong board but...

Can code that compile on GCC 2.95 compile on GCC 3.2.2?

Yes, it should... unless it just happens to be using one of the things that has changed a bit between 2.95 and 3.2.2, in which case it should just be a matter of updating those few things.
