Hi,

I just joined in to hack my PS2 for development.

The links for naplink software do not work in this tutorial...
http://ps2dev.org/ps2/Tutorials

Can someone update it or let me know if I am missing something ?
Also, is the homebrew hack applicable for slim version ?

As you can see on the right of the tutorials page, it hasn't been updated since 2002, so it's unfortunately outdated.

I've written a few tutorials which help you get started

http://lukasz.dk/playstation-2-programming/

These are not detailed step by step tutorials on how to code on the PS2 though.

The best way in my opinion to get started is to dig around in the PS2SDK source and have a look at the samples. For experienced developers getting to grips with PS2SDK shouldn't be too hard. It will though for people who are no that familiar with a C/makefiles/gcc environment and solving problems without the use of tutorials and documentation, but only with source code available for the most part.

So in the end it comes down to how experienced you already are as a developer and how much time you wish to devote to PS2DEV.
