Debug PS2 Disk (How can I run it?)

Hi,
I have in my possession a few CD-Rs with a very early WIP PS2 game that I was involved in creating. They run on a debug PS2 directly if I remember correctly.
The game was cancelled very early on, but the disks I have do have a prototype playable game on them. I really wanted to find a way to run them. Either through emulation, or perhaps a chipped PS2.
The reason I'm posting here is to ask if anyone knows the best course of action I should take. For example, can chipped PS2's run disks cut for debug stations, or would I need a debug station specifically? If anyone can figure a way to get this thing to run, I will happily send them an ISO from the disks to confirm. I'm really looking to get, at the very least, some gameplay footage from them. But ideally, I'd really like to find a way to run them myself so that I can play it. The game is a really fun multiplayer minigame and it's incredibly addicting.
I apologize if this seems a little off topic for the forum, but I figured this would be the best place to ask, since the people here understand the PS2 and getting code to run much better than most.
