Files are exactly the same whether you download with the PSP or directly from the webpage. It downloads to: /PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP If you move it to /PSP/GAME/TEST/EBOOT.PBP, it will run it, then drop back to the main browser right away. Shame that the firmware updating now wont work with a USB key, didnt get a chance to try it in the end.

I'm interested as to how Sony will firstly publicise the new firmware releases, and secondly, if there are region specific firmwares, distribute them correctly to relevant models in their respective locations.
