Im not an expert but i think gmake is the equivilant of cygwin make command.

Is this your first time trying to set it up? Maybe when you install cygwin the 'make' package wasn't installed.

What if you be a little more specific with the PS2DEV export line. You current have:

export PS2DEV="/usr/local/ps2dev"

Why not try

export PS2DEV="c:/cygwin/usr/local/ps2dev"

It is possible, and if you want to write some games go ahead and start writing, you can learn as you go why its not possible to boot a CD/DVD on a regular PS2.

You need a little assistance, for example ind exploit...or dare I say a modchip.

To set the variables edit the cygwin.bat file. I copied mine below to make it easier for you. Hopefully its right, there may be other ways of doing it but everything works fine for me. @echo off C: chdir C:\cygwin\bin set ps2dev=/usr/local/ps2dev set ps2sdk=/usr/local/ps2dev/ps2sdk set gskit=/usr/lo...

Questions on GSKit and LlibPlanar

I was playing around with the PS2Dev stuff a few months back and as soon as I got comfortable with gslib, gskit came out. I have some spare time now and was wondering what the easiest way to make my gslib code compile using gskit. Also, I have no spanish skills at all (since im canadian) and also wa...

OK...I found one problem for starters. When I run 'make' it is looking for the makefiles in /PS2lib directory...which is wrong cause im setup with PS2sdk. So once I find out how to make these changes to have 'makefile' look differently things might go a little smoother.

Setting Variables w/Cygwin WinXP for GSLib

Can someone direct me to, or help me here with setting the variables for GSlib using Cygwin. I have Cygwin all set up properly and working but since I used the toolchain I didn't have to set veriables to begin with so I have no idea where to now.

Thx

As long as you can connect your PC to your PS2 memory card you can edit, swap or add whatever you want....I have 1 exploit CD to do playstation's. I install it, connect using FTP then edit the files (titleman, IPConfig etc) to work with the new PS1 game and PC.
