Uhm... Maybe reading the parts where I said don't take this as an offense would prove mighty helpful. I also thanked you for that if I'm not mistaken. But I can understand if English isn't your language. Not mine either as you can tell. Regardless, there was no intentional attitude involved in my p...

Sorry for interrupting. But I'm also curious to know how the stuttering can be removed. So do you mind if I ask you to speak in proper understandable terms instead of programming language? You see, I'm not familiar with the terms programmers use so an easier explanation might helps us all. Sorry fo...

Hi there ! @Jonny There is definetely a bottleneck issue depending on the stick and - I suppose - fragmentation on the stick. If there is a stuttering on low bitrates, I have to press stop, the stick-light flashes several times, then go on and the stuttering is gone. Imho I would say increasing the...

What is interesting of this is that time between memory access can be larger and player works fine (what a nice job jonny). So we can look for an async reading method to solve some issues.

I need to learn more about psp programming (mine is windows C++ programming).

@jonny:

I have been making probes over a 32MB MS Duo and over a Datel 4GB HDD. I will try to play with seeks align (but not too much free time).

By better what do you mean.. ? Audio skipping is not continuous, so film is more visible. There are some films that now play without skipping or reduce their skipping to make it less annoying. Can you release a MOD of your binaries ? I am not sure if they can damage something, i don't have been any...

@jonny: Hi jonny! I have been playing with buffer, you can increase buffer block_size to maximun_read_size+0xfffff. This reduce audiojumping and hardcoded files as Spiderman_2_Trailer_Heavy.pmp can be played a little better. Other files can be played without problems. It is not a final solution but ...

I have been making more probes. With some films, adjusting "Target quantizer" setting instead of "Target bitrate" setting, I have got lower size pmp files, but they have audiojumping. I have uploaded Jarhead trailer. It works perfect on MS and almost perfect on Datel HDD. VideoCo...

@jonny: Thank you for response. The hdd has a sloooower reading rate. I have been developing video apps last year, and maybe a larger buffer size could solve the issue. But is not a priority for me (and not for you). You could try async read or buffer optimization using first 5 minutes of Matrix, wh...

audiojumping

Hi! I would like to say that your PMP is amazing. I have been making pmp videos to probe audiojumping because of the fact that i am a 4GB datel hdd owner (spiderman trailer sometimes jump on hdd, not on memory stick). I have selected Matrix to make these probes. The beginning of the film, when Trini...
