Thanks for the great pmp media player Jonny and all others involved. It's working great most of the time. Except I do have one reproduceable crash. On one pmp file of mine (~700mb) the pmp player always hangs when it gets to a certain frame in the video. I've tried re-encoding the video at a smalle...

Why reinvent the wheel? This will make everything more of a hassle. XviD has come a long way, so has the movie scene. Just integrate existing subtitle file support like the one avis use now. Dont see what it would optimize since its still xvid+mp3.

When loading an about 100mb avi xvid the app crashes with a "Bus error (data)." This didnt on the previous version on the same file. I can say on small samples, video is a lot smoother and audio is a lot more in sync. Keep up the progress!

Seems its very close to playable... XviD that is. Im using avg 600 bitrate 2 pass. When motion gets high (higher bitrate) it goes crazy and stutters and such, but it seems to catch up when things quiet down. Otherwise the quality is amazing. Is anyone still working on this? A video I was playing (it...

Something odd happens sometimes when I load an Xvid avi. I hear the audio and don't see the video. I'm sure libavcodec supports it because I tried out the SDL version and it works on that particular video, but not on this version. Anyway, great job on the new version :-) I think resolutoin needs to...

Use any guide just use the xvid as source. in evs: avisource("blah.avi") bicubicresize(480,272)

or change height to keep ratio.
Then just do two passes on the avi at 600 bitrate.

Xvid looks amazing at 480x272 and 600 avg bitrate. Now the audio messing up is another story. Great progress though!
