Great job Dsn, this is exactly what I thinking when I was originally envisioning DJSP. Glad to see someone came up with something better to help DJs. Here are some ideas I was thinking of... 1) An automatic beat matcher (like the magic beat mixer from virtual DJ or Trakker) 2) ...which also related ...

woah, I didn't think anyone would still have interest in DJSP after this long. Glad to hear someone still uses the old DJSP version. Personally, I've never liked PSPAdvance either. It crashes too much and there are ADs. That's the problem with selling your program to a company. You lose all rights t...

After reading all of this thread, I thought I might offer my 2c also. There seems to be so much controversy over charging homebrew these days. It does not seem too unreasonable to ask for a modest fee for something that a developer creates. I'm reminded of the good old shareware days when people use...

The new version of PMP works wonders. Most of my mpeg music videos play without any skipping frames. I was skimming through the original code and saw that any audio that is below 44khz is resampled to 44khz. What about 48khz audio streams? Something odd happens sometimes when I load an Xvid avi. I h...

Did anyone brick their psp from overuse?
Since I started development on the PSP, I leave it on for so many hours (6-8 hrs per day). Did anyone actually break their psp from overusing their psp? Normally I just leave it on usb mode most of the time, but I do notice it gets quite warm after a couple hrs.

I wholeheartedly believe to give credit where credit is due. With that said, I just wanted to say thanks to all the people who helped developed the PSPSDK. I knew absolutely nothing about psp programming 2 months ago, and now I'm happily writing programs and recently landed in a little psp programmi...

Loading external code, ala Plug-ins? (help for DJSP)
I was thinking of a few ways to allow external dev of visual plug-ins for DJSP. Basically, there's custom script processing, restricted variable modding, or external code loading. I think the latter option would be the most flexible, while providing ease of use. So my questions are: 1) Is there any ...

sigh, every time sony releases a new firmware, more people would migrate to the new one. Feels almost like psp programming would be a dying art. I'm hoping china and their aggressive illegal development would at least come up with a Umd to downgrade the psp, or at least some legitimate company would...

you might want to try reordering the libraries. This is what I used in my build.mak # Link with following default libraries. any way to increase PSP_NUM_AUDIO_SAMPLES?
The default is 1024 samples per second when using pspaudiolib. Is there any way to increase this value to be 8192 instead? I've tried the function sceAudioSetChannelDataLen but it had no effect and the callback still asks for 1024 samples. My guess is to use pspaudio instead, but I'm a bit clueless ...
