OK, now, I agree with mrbrown. This has nothing to do with PSP development. BUT To humor you: NO. There is no way for you to monitor your DLink wireless camera's access logs and prevent access from your PSP. Thank you, I'll be here all week. EDIT: P.S. -- It's never good to get around a locked topic...

Not to split hairs but: WindowsXP/2K/NT are NOT based on DOS. They have completely stricken their basis on the standard command interpreter. Windows 95/98/Me were *somewhat* based on DOS, but only slightly. Also, DOS was not based on, modeled after, upgraded from, or built on Unix. Unix and DOS are ...

The reason swapping works on the PSP 1.5 firmware (among other things) is that the firmware will allow the execution of processes that are not encoded. It still requires signed/encoded/encrypted executables (EBOOT.PBP) that pass the tests. Hence the swap trick was born. Swap a 'valid' EBOOT.PBP for ...

If you get any error message pertaining to the following: gcc-4.0.0.tar.bz2 not found in archive wget: command not found make: command not found gcc: command not found or the likes, make sure you have installed the packages 'wget' 'make' 'patch' and 'gcc' for cygwin. That should help a little. EDIT:...

Covered already?
DrKickFlip-- I believe this has been covered already... No one has (yet) found a working exploit by mucking about with the update files. It was previously found that you could alter the error messages by changing the directory it was in, check http://forums.ps2dev.org/viewtopic.php?t=1201 for some m...

FAKE.
As Raoul said, this is about a month old and has been found to be fake on several different levels.. The pictures he posted are of Windows Explorer browsing his memory card connected to his PC. He then types in 'http://whateverthehellhewantsto.psp/flash/memorystick/whatever/' and takes a screenshot....

It seems to order apps by the date they were transfered to the memory stick. Is there any way to modify this date so directories without the % get marked in the past to put them on the bottom of the list? As far as I know, a simple way to do this on a Windows box (if you don't have cygwin/touch/etc...

Anti-piracy gets on your nerves?
Uh. I don't mean to flame here, but 'Anti-piracy' advocates get on your nerves? Look, I'm sure you purchase every game you download (or else you delete it within 24 hours) but the odds are strongly against most people doing the same. Most people pirate software because they don't want to pay for it,...

Not to be an ass, but --- he said .psp, not PSP.
:)
Regardless, he should have searched the forums and would have found many threads on topics of this style....

From what I understand, the .SFO isn't hacked to allow the DATA.PSP to run -- it is a proof of concept to show a buffer overflow in action, caused by the .SFO. From what little I can pick up, in order to run homebrew using this someone will have to write a loader that is immediately run after the bu...

All I get is 'To start you must update the system software'. Doesn't matter how many times I try and start it... I get the expected behavior. My modifications to the PARAM.SFO evidently must either be incorrect or must not work in general. Can anyone point me to a forum post or other link for inform...

Modchip? yes and no...
Shikyo-- Yes and no... A modchip usually utilizes a secondary bios that has been hacked / created for the soul purpose of allowing homebrew games (and etc.) the ability to run. The only difference here is that it would be to allow the original 1.0j bios instead of a hacked bios. My differentiation i...

Possibility of secondary bios chip being created?
OK guys -- don't flame -- I'm not a developer, just had a couple of ideas here: Would it not be possible to have a secondary bios chip that was switched -- ie, you hit a switch to enable/disable access to it? This would allow for the chip to be flashed with the 1.0 bios and leave users with the opti...
