Yes you are able to view offline files.
At least I have heard this from multiple places.
There are some free browser based games you can download for it.

Nub Question, compiling.
I have had some basic programming classes. C, C++, Python. Now I think I know enough to learn how to program for the psp. I just saw where someone released a tut and a example file of how to render polygons on the screen, so I wanted to try it out. But What all do I need to compile? I have bloodshed...

Ugh. I may be wrong, but im pretty sure I read about this from some magazine article. The 222 cap is not in the firmware or psp itself. The cap is CODED INTO THE GAMES. Before the games are released they are ran by sony, if they go past 222, they are not aloud to put the game out on retail. EDIT So ...

Ha ha, I am learning to be a programmer, but not good enough to hack the psp. :P. After tinkering more with this ive learned a few more things. After coming out of the game, or game crash. If you have your sound turned all the way up, you can press the dpad and listen to it go down or up the menu. I...

Explanation to Menu Glitches.
I am sorry if what i say is confusing now, I am under the influence. But all this stuff about secret menus is about a menu gitch. What can be done with that i dont know. The original idea is that when you are in game. You hit the home key, and then you repeatedly hit x as you are coming back to the ...

That is one hell of a glitch even if its accidental, I wonder what else could be going on that could be glitched like that. Back to hitting button combos for 3000 years lol. EDIT Hmm what is this, I noticed that if you have a game on your psp, and you go to game--->memory card--->triangle---->inform...

I am desperate enough to get homebrew to work on 1.5 that...
I am cutting and pasting code from notepad from and to the data.psp files from the 1.51 update to homebrew code -_-. Praying one of the strings of garbage is the encryption key. Talk about desperate. Now I know i have no clue what im talking about, but is it not possible to see what is in that file....

Something I tried was editing the source of that html file. Instead of trying to launch eboot.html, I changed it to try and open eboot.pbp. But when i clicked the link to load up the file i had put on my memory card, it would just show the internet connection display. Im here at school, and the wire...

Something I mentioned over in pspforums.com, was the possibility of moding games like socom. They could even release the map editor and stuff for the computer and then you transfer it over to you psp. This is why this is a very good thing. When I purchase games, I try to pick the ones with the most ...
