if the files are compressed then they wont compress very well under zip or rar. see what kinda ratios you get out of other compression formats

save games non transferable? then whats the point of having them so easly removed on memory sticks and stuff. that doesnt seem likely, why would sony prevent people from emailing friends savegames or whatever? is this actually confermed or are you just saying?
