ok so i load my image
tmpImg = oslLoadImageFile(filename, OSL_IN_RAM, OSL_PF_8888);

then i swizzle it, and use the swizzle image
newImg = oslCreateSwizzledImage(temp, OSL_IN_VRAM);

makes sense, thanx __count.

Anyone know the answer to #2 and #3 in my previous post?
