The newer smap download location is referenced on http://playstation2-linux.com/forum/message.php?msg_id=48853 Remember that you already have patches applied to the PSTwo kernel, AND that Mega Man may have already applied thes...

btw i'm using slightly modified initrd, i change the lib module version 2.2 to 2.4. so it doesnt show "modprobe: bla bla bla" message again when you try to mount usb pendrive.

i open file 2.4.17_mvl21-kernel-modules.tar.gz, cant find modules.dep inside it i've found the way to modify initrd.img file by mounting it to linux in my pc, should i copy all file in 2.4.17_mvl21-kernel-modules.tar.gz to initrd image? i tried command depmod too: depmod: Can't open /lib/modules/2.4...

@bee7 you are missing the kernel modules for 2.4 kernel. You must create a login on the www.playstation2-linux.com site. You can then download this file which has the missing modules: 2.4.17_mvl21-kernel-modules.tar.gz i already downloaded the file, but dont know how to include it, i try searching ...

@bee7: On May 7th Mega Man posted some more details about USB mass storage, so creating device nodes with mknod might be sufficient (see page 5).
