Are you going to build USB 2.0 ports, and solder them to the board? Lol, is that what it would take to have usb 2.0 capabilty? hmm. I know why he´s asking this. Is there a alternative to SIO2MAN? I need it to fopen and mass to load some image files :-( I searched doom sdl port and noticed it does not load those Bios modules, but still did not had the time to see what they are doing. Theres the freesio2.irx from the ps2sdk that can be used as a replacement....
