Hover hovercraft game Win95 for psp?
I was thinking, we have Doom 1 for PSP now.. somewhat. So would it be possible to get Hover running at good speed? I love that game and would love to see it on PSP. I don't know if the source code is released, that's why I'm posting here to find out. Does anyone know if the source code is released f...

Time to start looking in to PSP Linux?
Guys over at PSP-Linux.org haven't done shit.. Seems like it's a 17 year old trying to be famous. Anyways, I've been snooping around and I found something called PSXLinux. I know that the PSX and PSP have similarities when it comes to how the CPU works and so on, since their both MIPS. I'm wondering...

Eliminating the need for swapping the MS (PSP-DEV 1.5)
I've found a way to eliminate the need for the second memory card and the stupid swap solution. It's pretty simple, someone needs to write a little and basic flash tool for the psp that flashes to (flash0:). Then we could flash the 1.5's to 1.0 and run homebrew the old fashioned way without the sill...

Seems like there are new emulator releases with this CPU adjustment option.
Just look over at www.psphacker.com.
I'm not gonna try this yet though.. :)

PSP Linux for 1.0 in the works?
When are PSP Linux going to start their development and testing?
We can already run code on 1.0, why would they wait for 1.5?
I want some resaults and testing code to try out.

Psp kernel memory dump [decrypted]
Seems like a friend of pIXEL8's has done a memory dump of the PSP kernel. profile.c sceUtilsProfilePrint ****< Profile >*********************** enable : %10u 1) system ck : %10u [cycles] 2) cpu ck(geared): %10u [cycles(geared)] 3) stall : %10u [cycles(geared)] +(internal) : (%10u) [cycles(geared)] +...

/me claps his hands. Bravo roto, really interesting that Wipeout has a browser included. I wonder if you could have a chance to upload/ download files with it, perhaps access the memory card or even see the UMD contents? If so are they encrypted? I think I will buy Wipeout pure, but the PSP isn't re...

Lets hope we can sniff the packets up uncrypted, if so we can reverse engineer them and somehow work out a way to run code off the mem stick. Unfortunatly I can't do anything since I don't have the Namco Museum game. What if you sniff Ridge Racer while playing a network game, for example online with...

Heh, as soon as we can exploit the buffer overflow that happends with the images there will be homebrew, I belive. Unfortunatly homebrew at that point would only be for people with JAP PSP's. But if someone somehow could dump the existing JAP PSP Firmware it would be great because then everyone coul...

Well the big question is, how can we dump the existing firmware from the PSP? I bet Sony have patches for security holes that exist in the JAP PSP firmware. As much as I want to update my PSP I'd rather be a bit skeptical and wait to see if we can dump the existing firmware first so we don't loose a...

Yes I do remember Project Unreality. I remember my dad saying that N64 emulation wouldn't be possible etc. Look at it now:D And yes, your 3 theories are somewhat possible. There could be several exploitable areas on the psp within the memory card feature. 1. Some sort of buffer overflow using the MP...
